This Isn’t Your Average Light Show!

Christmas light displays come in full force during the winter season but none doesn’t like the Toronto Light Festival. Taking their light show up a notch, this festival includes thousands of dazzling lights, interactive displays, and fun games. This year has added other amenities including a teleporter, lunar eclipse, pyramid, piano that plays LIGHTS, and a fire breathing dragon (just to name a few). In the words of its creators, this light festival aims to “create a positive, magical urban world that people of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy and look forward to”.
 

Best Of All - It’s Free!

13 acres and 44 buildings with thousands of sparkling lights and it’s all free! The Toronto Light Festival is able to make their light display available to the public for free thanks to its many sponsors.This event is for anyone to attend and you’re encouraged to capture your memories through photos. A partnership with Lyft has offered festival goers with a 10 dollar voucher for simply attending. Food and hot beverages will be available for purchase in and around the Distillery Historic District area. The show opens Sunday - Wednesday Sundown to 9pm and Thursday- Saturday Sundown to 10pm.
